Alkaline has landed at #1 on the itunes chart in the US after his album “NPT” officially release today with 16 songs. This marks a pivotal moment for Alkaline, with the project landing alongside his headlining performance at Barclays Center in Brooklyn that was sold out.
Alkaline NPT follows 2021’s Top Prize (Autobamb Records), which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, and New Level Unlocked (DJ Frass Records), marking a decade since his breakout LP that released March25 in 2016. Alkaline become the 4th Dancehall act to sold out Barclays following Buju Banton in 2024, Vybz Kartel and Bounty Killer long awaited respective concerts last years in 2025.
