Director Of Public Prosecution Paula Lewellyn explain that the cult pastor Kevin Smith was being transported to Kingston today in order for him to get a fair Trial.
She make it clear that although the crime happened in Montego Bay Kevin Smith and his co-accused might not get a fair trial in the St James parish.
DPP Paula Lewellyn said that Kingston and St Andrew would have the largest jury pool and it would have been less likely that you would have possible jurors or individuals who would have been relatives of members of his church.
