Dancehall artist Masicka set to headline his first show in the U.S at the Barclays Centre on August 15. The shocking announcement was reveal by Reggae Fest promoter Cj Milan this morning. This news drop right after Masicka has officially revealed Forever Reign as the title of his third studio album, set for release on August 14.
The upcoming project follows two major full-length releases, his critically acclaimed debut album 438 in 2021 and Generation of Kings in 2023, both of which helped solidify his place among dancehall’s elite lyricists. Masicka is set to continue the momentum in dancehall at the Barclays Centre after other heavyweight dancehall deejays such as Bounty Killer who performed July 5, 2025, Vybz Kartel back to back nights on April 10 and 11 immediately and grossed $8.4 million. Vybz Kartel returned August 29, 2025, selling out a third show for Labour Day. Most previously Alkaline sold out the Barclays Centre on March 21, 2026 as a dancehall headline act.
