Dancehall entertainer Andre “Popcaan” Sutherland was found to be in violation of the Road Traffic Act on Sunday including driving an unlicensed motorcycle, driving without insurance coverage, having no valid certificate of fitness, having no registration plate affixed, driving without a helmet and driving with no side-view mirror.
Reports are that the police acting on information intercepted Popcaan and his entourage in a nine vehicle convoy.
A man who was apart of Popcaan’s entourage identified as 39 year old Andre Harrison of Bachelors Hall in St Thomas was arrested and charged. Andre Harrison was offered a $20,000 bail and he is set to appear before the St Thomas Parish Court on June 3, 2021.
Popcaan was summoned to appear before the St Thomas Yallahs Traffic Court June 3, 2021.
