At least two persons were shot during a shooting confrontation on Trafalgar Road in St Andrew shortly after Midday today.
Police report that the men who were travelling in a Toyota axio were intercepted by a group of lawmen along the roadway following their alleged involvement in a robbery and murder in the parish earlier this morning. The men shot and killed a businessman at 74 Old Hope Road in the vicinity of Swallowfield.
The shooting took place in full view of motorist who were in traffic along Trafalgar Road and Hope Road was captured on footage.
Lawmen seen running for cover after shots were fired at them.
The number of gunmen that were involved in the attack is uncertain at this time.
